Project coach
Project management is 20% techniques and processes &
80% attitude and behavior
Why a project coach?

Projects don't fail for a lack of plans.

They fail due to a lack of awareness — about assumptions that are never questioned, about patterns that repeat, about people who no longer say what they think.

A project coach brings that awareness. As an independent outsider, without a political agenda, but with a keen eye for what is really going on.

In agile and hybrid environments, the need for coaching is clearer than ever. Teams of specialists strive for self-organisation, but that capability doesn't emerge on its own.

Teamwork

The role

Two roles, one goal

The project manager is ultimately responsible for the outcome. The project coach strengthens aspects that the project manager cannot always attend to: the human and process-related side.

Together, they ensure a project is delivered not only on time – but by the right people, in the right way.
